A template can give you words. It cannot make the decision for you.

The difficult moments at work are rarely difficult because nobody can find a policy.

They are difficult because a manager has to decide whether a request is reasonable. A senior person is accused. An employee raises a concern about someone powerful. A schedule changes at the last minute. AI influences a people decision. Medical information appears. A termination needs to be defensible. The written rule says one thing and daily practice says another.

A document can help. But a document by itself cannot make the decision fair, consistent, evidence-based, private, or safe to challenge.

That is the problem this Library was built to solve.

This is not a folder of HR templates. It is a connected employer resource system built around what organizations actually have to decide, document, communicate, implement and revisit.

What makes this different

  • Built as one system

The resources were designed as a connected employment lifecycle — not assembled from unrelated templates with different assumptions, standards and voices.

  • Built for Canadian employers

Jurisdiction-aware architecture, current-source prompts where rules vary, and dedicated resources for conditions such as Quebec language requirements, unionized work, temporary foreign workers and federal employment equity.

  • Built for hard decisions

Power, retaliation, privacy, comparator checks, evidence, alternate reporting routes and employee response are designed into the resources instead of being left for someone to remember under pressure.

  • Built for the lived rule

The question is not only what the policy says. It is whether people can actually use it, whether managers apply it consistently, and whether the organization can show what happened when the rule was tested.

209 resources across the employment lifecycle

From designing a role to offboarding the person who held it — and through the decisions, conflicts, changes and responsibilities in between.

Built for the workplace you have now — not the one HR manuals assumed twenty years ago

The Library includes resources for issues that are already changing how employers make decisions.

  • AI-assisted employment decisions, AI agents and synthetic or manipulated evidence.

  • Employee monitoring, biometrics, privacy, remote/hybrid work and after-hours availability.

  • Online harassment, doxxing, off-duty threat spillover, stalking and protection-order safety.

  • Pregnancy loss, significant loss and pet or companion-animal bereavement.

  • Menopause, fertility and reproductive health, neurodivergence and episodic or invisible disability.

  • Extreme heat, wildfire smoke, severe weather and climate-related work disruption.

  • Employee death and traumatic workplace loss.

  • Powerful-person allegations, retaliation risk, third-party misconduct and the difference between an allegation becoming public and an allegation becoming proven.

The law sets floors. Employers still make choices.

Between minimum legal compliance and daily workplace reality are hundreds of choices: how much discretion managers have, what evidence is enough, how privacy is protected, whether a benefit can actually be used, whether a senior person faces the same standard, and what happens after someone challenges a decision.

The Ameliorza Employer Standard is included with every licence because the Library should not leave those choices invisible.

Included standard document What it does
Core Standard Defines the durable expectations for responsible employer practice.
Settings Profile States the concrete Ameliorza choices for issues where employers have meaningful room to choose.
Evidence & Self-Assessment Tests whether the written promise is real in practice — without reducing the workplace to a misleading score.
Implementation Guide Shows how to move from current state to the Standard without a performative rollout or unnecessary bureaucracy.
Library Crosswalk Maps the Standard back to the exact Library resources used to implement it.

The questions that expose the gap

A strong workplace system has to survive questions like these:

  • Can employees actually use the benefit — or does staffing, workload or manager resistance make the written entitlement theoretical?

  • Would this decision be the same if the employee were senior, highly profitable, well connected or personally liked?

  • Can someone raise a concern or challenge a decision without quietly losing shifts, assignments, credibility, development or opportunity?

  • Did we separate evidence from inference, assumption and public pressure before making a consequential people decision?

  • Are we asking for more medical, family, religious, violence-related or other sensitive information than the decision genuinely requires?

  • Are we correcting the system problem — or asking the employee to become more resilient inside it?

  • Can we show what the organization actually did when the rule was tested, not merely point to a policy that says the right thing?

What every licence includes

  • 209 editable Microsoft Word employer resources across 12 lifecycle collections.

  • The complete five-document Ameliorza Employer Standard for the licensee's own internal implementation.

  • A Library Crosswalk that connects Standard requirements to the exact resource IDs used to implement them.

  • A complete resource schedule and controlled delivery materials so the Library is navigable from day one.

  • Perpetual use of the delivered version under the purchased rights, with no annual royalty.

  • The right to edit, adapt, curate and apply your branding to the 209 Library resources within your licence rights.

  • Automatic legislative monitoring or future updates, legal advice, custom adaptation, implementation consulting, certification and outsourced HR are not included.

Don't take "different" on faith

Review the buyer evaluation package and representative current-library samples before you buy. You should be able to see the depth, tone and architecture for yourself.

What you're actually buying

  • A coherent starting system instead of years of one-off document building and patchwork decisions.

  • Resources that carry the same decision logic across hiring, pay, leave, conduct, accommodation, performance, technology, safety, change and separation.

  • Text length of individual points can be shorter or longer depending on your needs

  • Decision safeguards for power, retaliation, evidence, privacy, consistency and employee response.

  • A protected Employer Standard that makes stronger employer choices explicit rather than leaving them to manager preference.

  • An implementation and evidence route that asks whether the written rule became the lived rule.

  • A perpetual delivered version that the organization can adapt within its licence rights instead of paying an annual royalty simply to keep using what it bought.

Is this the right fit for your organization?

The Library is designed for organizations that want a serious working system — not just a folder of templates.

A strong fit if you …
Probably not the right fit if you …
Want a substantial Canadian HR resource system you can adapt to your organization.
Only want the lowest-cost generic template bundle you can find.
Need practical resources that cover hiring, leave, conduct, accommodation, performance, technology, safety, restructuring and separation.
Only need one or two isolated documents.
Want resources built to support difficult workplace decisions, not just provide policy wording.
Want documents without the decision frameworks, safeguards and implementation expectations that come with them.
Need rights that match how you actually intend to use the Library — internally, with clients or members, or in paid offerings.
Need unrestricted resale or redistribution rights beyond the licence you purchase.
Value a one-time licence to a complete delivered version that your organization can continue using and adapting.
Require automatic legal updates, ongoing consulting or legal advice to be included.

One complete package. Choose the rights you need.

Every licence receives the same 209-resource Library and the Employer Standard.
The price changes only because the rights change.

Frequently asked questions

Questions a careful buyer should ask

  • Is this a subscription?

No. The standard licences are one-time purchases. You receive perpetual use of the delivered version within the rights you purchased. There is no annual royalty.

  • Are future legal updates included?

No automatic legislative monitoring or future-version update service is included. Jurisdiction-sensitive resources tell the user to verify current official requirements at deployment.

  • Is this legal advice?

No. The Library and Employer Standard are workplace resources and decision frameworks. The organization remains responsible for current jurisdiction review and for obtaining legal or other specialist advice where the situation requires it.

  • Can we edit and brand the documents?

Yes. The 209 Library resources can be edited, adapted, curated and branded within your purchased licence rights. The five Employer Standard documents are protected Ameliorza framework IP and have different restrictions.

  • Do we have to use all 209 resources?

No. The value of the complete Library is that the right resource is available when you need it. Use the smallest set that solves the real employer need.

  • Which licence do we need?

Internal Use is for your own organization. Distribution is for providing adapted Library resources to approved external business users. Commercial adds the right to monetize adapted Library resources in permitted paid offerings.

  • Can we upgrade later?

Yes. Internal can upgrade to Distribution, and Distribution can upgrade to Commercial through the approved purchase and acceptance process.

  • Can we distribute or white-label the Ameliorza Employer Standard?

No. The Employer Standard is included for the licensee's internal implementation. Distribution and Commercial rights apply to the editable Library resources, not to resale, redistribution or white-labelling of the Standard.

  • Does buying the Library mean our organization meets the Employer Standard?

No. The Standard is an implementation and self-assessment benchmark, not a certification, badge, audit result or Ameliorza endorsement.
